Painted on site near the Pleasant Hill Blueberry Farm in Fennville, MI.
The owners planted this 4 acre poppy field to commemorate their son, a veteran. They hope the flowers will provide peace to other veterans struggling with mental illness — in addition to those facing hardships during the ongoing pandemic of 2020. It was truly a magical and overwhelmingly beautiful place to be. Such a sense of peacefulness lay over the land.
