Painted from a hike on the Bay View Trail, north of Glen Arbor and South of Pyramid Point. You can find this trailhead off Thoreson Rd in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Through a sprinkle of woods and then up a hilly path to rolling meadows, you will take in a view of Lake Michigan before looping back.
